Can confirm, my truck has rear-only ABS (on drums to boot!). 1997 F-250HD.
I don’t usually mix up a batch until I need to do a coolant refill on one of my cars. That usually uses two of the four jugs, and then the other two I keep in the trunk to top things up as they slowly leak because I drive 20+ year old shitboxes.
I buy two gallons of antifreeze, two gallons of distilled water, pour all four jugs into a 5-gal bucket, stir, then pour the 50/50 mix back into all four jugs and use a big sharpie to label them all “PRE-MIXED (date here)”
Half the world is comprised of middlemen. That part of the economic sector won't go away without a fight to the death
Yeah every time I rode that Tassajara, I marveled at just how light it was for a MTB. Very lively.
Sweet restomod project, Raph! The only old bike I’ve had recently was a late 90s Gary Fisher Tassajara, which I sold to a friend who needed a cheap but reliable bike for transportation. He still has it a few years later, though he bought an e-bike so now that Tassajara is sitting. I’m thinking about buying it back…
Counterpoint: those few precious seconds of full throttle rocket ship acceleration are what makes these high powered bikes so attractive and sought-after. It's not ludicrous to enjoy being the quickest thing on the road from time to time.
It’ll be awesome while it lasts though, hopefully at least 8 years of production so they can get cheap later.

It’s a combination of things. The most important is that the social environment they have grown into, is not conducive to saving money. When your friends and family are all largely in the working class or lower economic stratum, it’s difficult to continue being involved in their lives as peers when everyone knows…
Almost everyone who wins millions in a lottery, ends up destitute within a few years because they lack the financial discipline to sustain a fortune. They just blow all of the winnings to live like a rockstar for awhile. They never follow rule #1 of wealth building: Never touch the principal.
Ah the brief glimpses into how the 0.1% live.

I’m not criticizing the 7.3l, I like it along with the new C8.

That would be the ultimate automotive troll. It would be like buying the Mona Lisa and giving her a make-over
Not at all, I quite like the new Ford 7.3 gasser AND the new C8.
The irony of Jalopnik’s “Drive Free Or Die” slogan increases with every article like this.
