It might sound grim, but eventually those cars will get sold, it’s just a matter of whether it’s over Mary’s dead body.

I’m impressed the boardwalk didn’t completely collapse under the weight of the tractor, particularly the single tire steer axle with the engine right above it.
I’m legitimately seeking to buy an NC Miata as my next car, probably next year as finances allow. I have no kids and rarely carry more than one passenger, and when I absolutely need a vehicle to haul stuff or more people, I have an F-250 extended cab pickup.
Those who are not financially able to pay down relatively high-interest loans quickly, and lack the credit to obtain a low- or zero-interest loan, should stick to lower priced vehicles (sub-$2000) and purchase outright. Living within one’s means and all that. Almost anyone can afford a late 90s…
Sure, if you can get an ultra low or 0% interest rate, by all means take advantage of it. But if someone likes to buy a new car every few years, they still have to be cognizant of equity vs amount owed on longer term loans.
Remember folks: the longer the loan term, the more interest you pay. Try to keep vehicle loans to 48 months or less. Also, when buying (not leasing), get as short a loan term as possible AND make extra principal payments on it as early and often as possible. You will have equity in your vehicle much sooner, and even…
Yep, that’s the one. Horrific crash that insantly killed three innocents along with the moron driver.
Sorry, that doesn’t even come close to the worst car crash I’ve ever seen.
I’m not writing off V-twins because Harley uses them. I’ve had Japanese V-twins in the past. I just don’t care for their lumpiness. I’m all about smooth power delivery, and inline 6 is the smoothest it gets on two wheels. Also, Goldwings use flat 6s, not inline.
I just thought of a brilliant idea, use a big warehouse with giant heat lamps to bring the whole place up to, say, 140 degrees F (60 C) and bake recently flooded cars for a day or two to evaporate all the moisture out of them.
flood damage lol
I’m 32, and I just don’t much care for the types of bikes that H-D makes.
I completely understand the Skyline’s era dominance, but physics is physics and the F1 was a freak of nature performance-wise for its day.
I want to know what kind of Skyline can pull away from a goddamn McLaren F1 on the straights. It would need 800+ hp to overcome the weight deficit alone.
Do you think the company would go bankrupt if you got hit by a bus?
The best feature of these midget street bikes is that you can park them pretty much anywhere, and they will even fit inside an elevator. They’re light enough that two guys of average strength (or one pretty strong guy) can pick it up into the back of a minivan or truck.
I’d honestly opt for the bicycle if your commute is less than 5 miles. Deck it out in retroreflective tape, get a nice head and tail light, wear a hi-viz jacket, and if you’re feeling really cheeky, get an air horn to get peoples’ attention if they’re about to run you over.
I don’t know if I truly hate *any* car. Automobiles are humanity’s brainchild, and their good or bad qualities are direct reflections on the people who designed and built them, along with societal regulations that guide much of that design and manufacture. Cars that many people consider to be hateful, are simply…
3 to 6 feet? I wonder if a Raptor would have sustained any damage
Ok there’s nothing interstellar about a solar eclipse. The moon is just casting a shadow for a few hours.
