If losing a rotary is inevitable, an Inline 6 is at least an acceptable consolation. I’m not a big rotary nerd, I just think they sound cool and I appreciate things that are different. But I also recognize it might just be a concept that will never pan out to the extent that piston engines have.
I find it more amusing when the people think they have something worth millions and go on and on about how their ancestor brought it over on the Mayflower and it turns out to be worthless junk someone bought at Sears.
I vaguely remember this. You would see news reports every night discussing the crisis and there were always shots of long lines at the pumps. And by long, I mean it wasn’t unheard of for someone to wait an hour.
Well I remember this report when it was on the first time. I was a kid of about ten then, and my parents and I didn’t take trips on the weekends, or evenings. We stayed home a lot. My mom and dad said that it was like the war, meaning WW II when they were kids. My dad took the train to work, but there are some points…
Now this is a fake Ferrari.

I like the idea of a burnout contest. I like burnouts, but there’s a time and a place and it’s not on a public road. Disperse the crowds hanging out near the exits and move them to a dedicated, safe burnout pad.
A few things.
There are tools that exist for that. My car had wheel locks but tire shops didn’t need my wheel key to remove them. There are Youtube tutorials on the subject even.
This is why we can’t have nice things in America.
How’s Michigan doing against Kentucky? Last I read there was two C8s in the impound lot there.
i thought all these illegal driving stunts took place in “Mexico”
They should be arrested for filming in portrait mode....
HOAs are a nightmare and I’m grateful to live in an area (i.e. not the south) where I could buy a house and easily avoid them. I really hope this one goes away with the boomers, as I can’t picture anyone being like this besides a bored old housewife who has nothing better to do.
Any VPs are too many.
If VP’s of your company have this much time on their hand to worry about this, you have too many VP’s.
IMO.
Bridgestone RE-71Rs are available in 15. Fantastic tire. Trackday and autocross Miatas keep a lot of performance options available in the size. I have a set of R888Rs on my Alfa, but I would consider that over the line on a true street tire. But for all seasons, you are limited to mostly economy car ties.
