Aren’t there surveys that show something like 90% of drivers think they are above average? Since only 50% of people can be above average (by definition), that’s something like 40% of people who think they are much better drivers than they actually are. Could it be those same 40% also think they are okay to drive under…

I’ve seen Premium vary wildly, up to 60 cents/gal higher than the regular grade.

My one new car buying experience was the complete opposite. The first dealer I visited was completely unwilling to order the color combination I wanted. They went so far as to claim the manufacturer would not build the interior/exterior combination I wanted (despite the brochures indicating otherwise).
