No working during drinking hours!

Interesting, so why is it added to regular gasoline?

Ethanol absorbs more water from the air which is generally not great for your fuel system over time. It’s also less efficient.

I’m looking at a Jag and the manual says something like 95 octane preferred (which, ok never seen that) but 91 minimum and don’t use anything over E10. Unless there is something british happening in the octane conversions (is that a thing?)

I had to say CP, but only just. $6000 is a little steep, but assuming the asking price includes a little wiggle room, a reasonable price ought to be achievable.

There’s one manager that replies immediately to mundane day-to-day stuff when he’s on vacation.

Most modern engines need to know intake air temperature to know what map to run on. I think displaying that number is just a fallout of that, someone said, we measure this, maybe we should display it.

I’d like to see the comparison between a large Dia wheel vs a thick sidewall with the same outer dia. Sidewalls and rubber aren’t light either.

Glad to see evidence that some police departments actually want to be helpful to people, rather than just setting up speed traps to generate ticket revenue.

People I work with used to get pissed when I didn’t reply to emails sent to me in the middle of my vacation even though my out of office says will have limited access to email and phone.

Why is this guy so damn grumpy ALL THE TIME?

Northern Maine, in a snow storm, in early April, in an area without cell phone signal.

I asked him if I could jump off his cruiser, he laughed at me and told me I had three minutes to get it moving or he was calling a cop tow truck with all the fees that entailed for impound.

“You can buy this, because it’s you’re money and I can’t stop you, but you need to decide which child you’re going to live with when you retire if you do.”

If you buy a car and need to get a higher rate loan (or a longer term), you can’t afford the car.

Yeah, this is not going to go quickly. It sucks. It’s disrupting the rollout for new parts, eating up a huge amount of already crowded floor space, sucking up engineering, maintenance and production time for ‘dead’ products. The fallout from this mess is going to effect the supply chain for the next few years.

Fun fact: Tread width isn’t the same for 225/45, 225/40, and 225/35. It increases as the sidewall gets shorter, by almost half an inch for this specific tire.

In Pennsylvania a vehicle will not pass State Inspection with a wheel diameter less than what’s specified on the door jamb tire and wheel spec sticker.

I believe I can reconfigure my speedometer through my SCT flash tuner device, so that shouldn’t be affected, but can anyone foresee any other issues I may face if I did this?

Yes, I am apparently getting old.
