So if your house ever gets broken into or your car stolen, cops shouldn’t come investigate because they should only worry about drugs, terrorism and human trafficking???

Yeah, but you need to add in something to cover removal of the vomit stains on anything around me while setting up the “disposal”.

I moment I scrolled to that interior shot I had to suppress throwing up in my mouth. Automatic CP at ANY price.

That sounds like a fantastic role. I always thought the “matching customers to the right car” part of the car sales would be fun (while the “arguing over prices and financing” part would suck).

Now playing

Here’s a nice dicussion of that in video form:

I’m not impressed with the “hot air intake” picking up air right next to the the exhaust manifold. Surely that intake piping and filter could be routed somewhere a bit more intelligent.

Last time I rented, I had reserved a Focus. I mean, it was just me, and my one carry-on suitcase. I tend to hate all rental cars, but at least some of the small ones aren’t completely dreadful in a turn.

Yes they do, usually because they are too lazy to make the switch, or just can’t afford another set of tires.

It’s astonishingly that there are more goldfish crackers in our minivan than in the local Costco.

More intelligent use of leverage. My arm strength has diminished over the years— partially from age and partially from driving a computer every day.

It makes slightly more sense in Japan, where the car models aren’t “Mazda 3" and “Mazda 6".. they are Axela and Atenza, respectively. So the Mazdaspeed models are just Mazdaspeed Axela and Mazdaspeed Atenza.

I remember seeing a video review (Motortrend? Car & Track? I can’t remember) that concluded the turbo engine had the minimum power the base model car should have had to be tolerable.

Sad face :(

I experience this problem nearly every time I’m in the inside of two turning lanes. It seems no one around here can understand the concept of “one lane per vehicle”.

But that interior...

Your story reminds me of the time I was cruising right along at night with a car behind me that I foolishly didn’t realize was a cop. When he lit up his lights, I figured I was about to get hammered for speeding (about 15 to 20 over on a rural road). But he was after me for something entirely different.

Growing up in a rural area, especially on a farm, has an advantage for early driving education.

Are rwd cars becoming more dangerous with all the electronic doo-dads on them.

I expect an owner who would do this to a car probably hasn’t been bothered to take care of the mechanicals either. If the car came into my possession, I’d go through the whole car with a fine tooth comb. I wouldn’t be surprised if some rather expensive parts (it is German after all) need replacement.

There’s no “acceleration limit” as far as I’m concerned.
