There are several aftermarket tops out there (at least for the NA and NB). It costs a lot to design, tool, and build a hardtop, so the prices aren’t particularly competetive against those for used OEM tops.

What you describe are exactly the problems we have in Maine for inspections. Cars are on the road with issues at least as bad as those shown in the article photos. Many garages decide they make so little actually doing the inspections that they need to invent repairs to pad out the bill that unknowing car owners will…
My dad had a 730, two 50s, a 40, and a 1020. That 730 is a BEAST-- I can only imagine how much more impressive the 830 must have been. The 50 just putts along, but that 730 diesel BOOMS. And so much compression-- I can tell you tow-starting one of those is a bitch!
I once made the mistake of not keeping my hand on the clutch lever of a John Deere 50 while twisted to my left backing up. When it came time to stop, I couldn’t get the clutch disengaged before snapping a plank off the front of a hay wagon with the rear tire of the tractor.
Some of us were fortunate to start making friends with the clutch at age 10. Farming isn’t glamorous, but it does let you learn some driving skills on (slow) tractors before “graduating” up to cars and trucks.
Why does no one learn how to drive in
that townthis country?
I’ve heard many times “it’s sexy when girls race” which I take as a compliment, (who doesn’t like being told they’re hot?) even if I think they don’t see the reality that I’m sweaty and covered in grime just like they are.
It sounds like they were not going to let you win no matter what reality and physics had to say.
They should have shot him in the testicles for fairness shakes.
Sounds like you may be the one who doesn’t value human life homie.
This is what that sprung chain is for on storm doors.
If you eventually wanted some milk, they would be good for that.
The rule of thumb is if you were to build a car from scratch (part by part), you should expect it to be at least 2.5x the price of it was new at MSRP.
From what species of tree does one harvest pink lumber?
Trucks and SUVs are exempt?! This fucking country...
Look, from a technical perspective I get the whole “rear engine doesn’t work thing” but Porsche have been killing it for decades and their handling has made them what they are today
I always found it ironic that CA has some of the biggest car culture in the country, yet has the most draconian laws when it comes to emissions, modifications, and classic motors.
the lawn in front of the white house is public land. go see what happens when you decide to have a picnic there.
Raw salmon can harbor parasites that will kill a dog.
I think I’d rather see a sales tax on vehicles that fall below a specific MPG threshold.
