There are a lot of other words for having sex,

Horsepower requirements go up at geometric rates as speed goes up, especially over 150mph.

I believe in many states/provinces winter tires should be a legal obligation.

Rental companies that insist on renting cars without winter tires in winter conditions should go to jail for endangering their clients.

Some dogs absolutely LOVE beer. Not a good idea to give them IPAs, though— hops are one of those things that are fine for people but bad news for dogs. Though they’d probably have to drink a LOT to get a damaging dose of hops. It is more a concern for home brewers, who will have packages of hop pellets around.

Mine was an Audi.  Loved driving the car. Hated not driving it. I was doing more of the latter than the former, because something was always breaking. And of course the parts and the labor were EXPENSIVE.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like many of the features and performance of German cars. I would love to drive another one, but I don’t think I want to own another one.

I’m sure you can’t just change the seal, you have to replace the differential case.

Car exhaust is not, however.

I think it was hyperbole.

The other challenge with moose is that having no natural predators, they don’t run in fear from noise and moving objects the way deer do. Sometimes they’ll just stand there in the dark and stare down the oncoming car, oblivious to any danger.

After I upgraded the exhaust on my MS6, I noticed I was seeing far fewer deer near the road at night.

Contrasted to many “tuner” cars with over-complicated, busy wheel designs, I quite like the simple, elegant sleekness of these wheels. But putting the wrong size tire on them kills the look, IMO.

You have to consider the source. My guess is the rest of those millions probably weren’t superior.

While I completely understand the reasoning... a comfortable driving position totally trumps any audio considerations in a hot rod.

Then someone invented the LR balance and fade knobs, and all was right in the world.

Folks who are unfamiliar with the concepts of sound quality, like staging and imaging, might need a bit more explanation than one word.

I wasn’t trying to guess about this car’s owner’s intentions. Another successful car audio installation may have been copied “for show”, or the owner may have genuinely been interested in building a competitive sound quality car.

Foot-well speaker locations are normally an attempt to achieve reduced path length differences between the left and right speakers and the listeners’ ears. Getting the difference as small as possible is how one achieves good stereo imaging.

Aluminum to steel fusing I can at least understand. My gf’s Versa wheels are steel, and they like to weld to the steel rotors & drums, despite liberal application of anti-seize. I’ve never seen anything like it. I generally need to put a prybar between the tire and the suspension to pop it off.
