There are several films that detail this time period and the immediate aftermath that you may find rival this film. Barefoot Gen, and Black Rain are the ones that pop into my head immediately, but there are plenty more.

I’ve never really understood the drummer-hype. Of course drumming requires a certain type and amount of physical skill, but what makes a drummer truly great is the way they use the unique texture of percussion to transform a song.

I’m not sure what people’s experience here are, but nearly every drummer I’ve ever played…
