“...people only talk how awesome the fights are.”

I watched NGE as the VHS tapes came out one-by-one from ADV. Since then, I’ve talked with quite a few people in both the USA and Japan about NGE and I cannot recall a single time that anyone was talking about any of the fights with the exception of the Asuka fight in

What a load of dingo’s kidneys.

I made a post similar to this.

I’m not really sure where and how people draw their lines. This is a brutal show that often features cruel murder, through violent combat and assassination.

The show also discusses slavery [poorly], the most peculiar and terrible social construct of mankind.

All of these things are also

Just to be clear here, to Theon, Sansa isn’t being raped. This is rape to us, of course, but you should try to imagine what it the scene means to Theon.

This is another instance where the cracks seem to be appearing in this show a little bit — first, because the Sand Snakes making their move at the exact same time as Jaime seems like the kind of bizarre coincidence the show has leaned on a lot lately.

I thought this as well, however keep in mind that the sand snakes

Just in case you don’t really know this, the “focus” of a scene is often left off-camera to amplify the effect.

I was always under the impression that the film The Messenger was quite accurate as well,

Butter is typically fine for those that are lactose intolerant.

I don’t live in NY, but it’s got to be more expensive than that.

And if it was, that’s a false comparison.

Just to make sure we are clear here, you all know that people reading this blog (or nearly anything, for that matter) are not the audience for this toy.

I’ve always had this feeling that Richard didn’t/doens’t really like 80 and 90’s era Anime much. I’m probably wrong, but for some reason I think he prefers 21st century, digital-style shows to the older ones.

Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon is pretty good. Not as addictive as it should be, but funny at times.

I’m watching it, but I don’t think I’d include it on a “must watch” list. I can understand if people find the characters unlikable, the plot and character development too slow, or just outright boring. Everything seems either forced or insignificant in this anime.

Also, if this anime makes you cry, you are overly

Seems like an odd fact to leave out.

I haven’t watched this anime, but you are wrong.
