I don’t live in NY, but it’s got to be more expensive than that.

And if it was, that’s a false comparison.

I’ve always had this feeling that Richard didn’t/doens’t really like 80 and 90’s era Anime much. I’m probably wrong, but for some reason I think he prefers 21st century, digital-style shows to the older ones.

Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon is pretty good. Not as addictive as it should be, but funny at times.

I’m watching it, but I don’t think I’d include it on a “must watch” list. I can understand if people find the characters unlikable, the plot and character development too slow, or just outright boring. Everything seems either forced or insignificant in this anime.

Also, if this anime makes you cry, you are overly

Seems like an odd fact to leave out.

I haven’t watched this anime, but you are wrong.

Many anime build tension by stacking the odds against the heroes—making it seem as if they have no way to win.

This is mostly unrelated, but I was once pulled over for going 10 over the speed limit. The officer went through all the motions: approached my vehicle, asked for a license and registration, and issued a ticket.

The thing it, the officer never noticed that he was talking to the person in the passenger seat of my car.

This sounds cute and all, but aren’t cartoons for kids?

Although this looks bad, I remember the FFVII guide was wonky in places too. I seem to remember that it was mas for the Japanese version and it often listed exploits in the game that were taken out in the American version.

Really more of a job for “contrast.”

Well, that is the theme of the stories.

I liked setting and villains in that series though.

With a title like Archmage, the novel will focus also on Gromph Baenre.

In Japanese slang, “calpis” can also refer to cum, obviously due to the drink’s color. Heh.

Seems odd to use the english slang in the same sentence. Perhaps “slang for ejaculate/semen” would sound more normal?

Either way, nice article to indicate you had nothing much to write about:

“Man, I have NO idea what to port on

Keep in mind that the blu-rays in Japan can cost well over $100.

Although some of my friends did, I just couldn’t bring myself to eat the whale bacon in Japan...

...but it looked DAMN good.

The thing about subway is how tricky it is to know what you are spending.. If you want a $5 sub, you order it, but then they start asking you questions, and some questions make your sub more expensive but some questions do not.

Thanks for the reply Ned. Despite the nitpicking, I think it was cool for you to give this subculture some attention.

For your Punk needs, start with The Best of Punk Magazine. It’s not perfect, but a worthy coffee-table tome that can inspire countless debates on the merits of punk subculture (one of the very first
