Holy shit, you're not wrong about the similarities.
Thanks for posting this otherwise I would have ignored the video and failed to listen to Mouse on the Keys.
Look up Homesick For Space. You may like them.
If it is anything like EQ's kornos, they will cost more than what it costs per month. Around $17 perhaps.
One I would add is mosfilm.ru
This site has basically every Soviet film. Most with subtitles.

Well, keep in mind I am specifically referring to the animation of the eva sequences. Specifically, Asuka v. the dummy plugs.
The whole climax is also top-notch.
As I said, you can argue that some of the stuff from the films looks better. I much prefer the Eva designs in EoE. I don't like the digital look of the new films as much.
What I wouldn't say is that EoE looks "dated as hell." It still looks fantastic.
1) That short wasn't very good.
Me!Me!Me! is really fun.
Brian,
I never read the article you linked about the used-underwear vending machine until now, but I did actually find one while in Japan. It can't remember if it was in Den Den town, or somewhere else in Nipponbashi, but it was in a tight ally that let to a stairway to get to a super-shady novelties store.
If it was…
Look: I love it, and I'm not trying to dismiss it, but it doesn't do the one thing I really want my Nintendo platform to do: play Japanese games (ie. be region free)
If you want good anime reviews, Kotaku is the last place to come to. Occasionally Richard has something interesting to say, but he isn't a critic. By that, I mean that he cannot put an anime into a context that supports his primary assessment and supporting ideas. He simply tells you what he thinks, which is fine,…
Looks like another bad season.
Saekano is the only thing jumping out to me. Everything else looks pretty throw-away, but there are some that have such wild descriptions that you just can never tell.
Attack on Titan, bear edition, for example.
Oh yeah. I forgot about that deck. I also recall playing some green/white turbofog decks not long after the core of that deck was banned.
Several years ago, I (mostly a casual player back in the day) repeatedly top 8'd several large tournaments with primary mill strategies. Mostly with mesmeric orb decks.
Could I have won some of those tournaments if I was better/had more endurance? I think so.
Yeah, these comments are funny. Mill was extremely viable for the first few years of competitive magic because there really was no defense against it.
But, it is worth mentioning that milling wasn't necessarily the only way to win in those decks. Still, in later years, there were plenty of competitive mill decks. I'm…
I'm not sure it is objective fact to say that "the insulin hypothesis of obesity" has been "thoroughly debunked." Stephen Guyenet clearly dislikes Gary Taubes (it's mutual probably), and that article is just a sample of their bickering.
Magic is a fairly cordial environment, in part because it mostly relies on face-to-face interactions (though Magic Online does exist), and thus everyone is kind of forced to get along and be respectful to one another. In general, at tournaments like this, it's like a less trash-talk-and-mirror-shades-based version of…
On some level, it would come down to the purpose of the film. In the case of literature, some people like to keep fantasy separate from magic realism.
In this case, is Slither/28 Days later about scares, or about the the effects of science and technology on humans?
Building Stories is a great choice for this offer.

Like some of the other posters, I picked up the new DMG and MM (had PHB). Also snagged some Eisner:

I wonder how they will know to email me. I know I use my Vita on the PS Store, but I don't remember when I bought my Vita or how they will even know when I bought it.
