I'm not sure it is objective fact to say that "the insulin hypothesis of obesity" has been "thoroughly debunked." Stephen Guyenet clearly dislikes Gary Taubes (it's mutual probably), and that article is just a sample of their bickering.

Magic is a fairly cordial environment, in part because it mostly relies on face-to-face interactions (though Magic Online does exist), and thus everyone is kind of forced to get along and be respectful to one another. In general, at tournaments like this, it's like a less trash-talk-and-mirror-shades-based version of

On some level, it would come down to the purpose of the film. In the case of literature, some people like to keep fantasy separate from magic realism.

In this case, is Slither/28 Days later about scares, or about the the effects of science and technology on humans?

I wonder how they will know to email me. I know I use my Vita on the PS Store, but I don't remember when I bought my Vita or how they will even know when I bought it.

Note the lack of italics.

The 3d CGI looks like garbage. In a response to another poster, Richard asks why Macross, animated in 2d, is the exception and not the rule.

This fact is that these anime are an exception to the rule that 3d looks like garbage nearly always.

In general, anime production costs are low. When you actually get an anime

No,w it hasn't been out for long but...

I'm sure there will be a FAQ.

There is virtually no reason to know what anyone is saying in this game in order to play it.

Which is probably a more expensive option.

It's nothing like BBT anyway.

Good call on I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying. It's a fun one people.

I started watching Shirobako, but then stopped. It just struck me as boring, but I may pick it back up.

I also agree that Luke and Brian are perhaps the best on the site.

This looks like a book that is begging to be held and touched. Ebook would take a lot of fun out of the experience I bet.

DVDO Edge!

But clicky DS...

Shirobako seems like an odd show to not have access to in the west.

"It can be translated as "Japanese spirit" or "Japanese soul" but that really doesn't do the term justice. What it means in practical terms is that the bosozoku see themselves as roving bands of warriors representing their crews the way that daimyo (or Japanese fuedal lords) were represented by their samurai

A little frustrating that I was a supporter, but still have no copy =(
