Work fine? Probably. But a 480p output on your average HDTV is going to look pretty bad unless it has a built in scaler/deinterlacer. Even if it does, there may be enough input lag to effect gameplay. At least GC has component out.

Graphics and looking terrible are not exactly the same thing. WW on GC will look fine on an older CRTV, but it isn't designed to send a signal to a digital display.

Agreed. Grandia 2 has the most entertaining combat system in all of JRPGs. It's the only JRPG where I would actively seek out monsters.
