I thought this was a fantastic show, but was surprised at how little I am urged to re-watch it. I might watch these movies with some American friends that didn't catch this in Japan.

Much of what you say in this post, for once, is correct. Wal Mart employees are often dumb, apathetic, or both. And if they had done their jobs, this would never had happened, but they don't, so people will rip them off for eternity.

It is unfortunate that the scammers you know are so poor at pulling off their attempts at thievery. At least I hope they learned their lessons and chose a different route that was more suited towards them.

I'm not going to explain this grift to you any further. If you've really never known anyone to use this exploit then congratulations, you have some trustworthy people surrounding you and have never been a to a retail theft-prevention workshop.

Just letting you know that no one does this at any of the Wal-Mart's I have returned merchandise to. They take it straight to the shelf.

My suggestion: pick up one, look at the publishing dates, and look for the hysterical symbolism as well as references through the imagery and colors selected. Keep in mind that Seuss was a staunch Democrat and made quite a large amount of WWII propaganda. I recommend you look up some of the posters he made.
