I’ve said it for years: Any stickers on cars. They lower the value, both perceived and actual. Plus, the more stickers, the worse (and dumber) the driver.

It was an e90 series M3 and it actually returned better fuel economy then the Prius in that test. Of course asking an M3 to follow a Prius going full out is like asking an Olympic runner to follow a mall walker for 10 minutes. That was an older Prius though. I’m pretty sure the results would be different with a…
Cool, thanks!
Because unethical business practices are...unethical? Unregulated business becomes child labor, sweatshops, and Stellantis levels of quality control. MSRP isn’t a bad thing in that it sets a sort of baseline to work with. I’m not worked up, just really surprised at how many people are willing to pick this hill to die…
Huh, the bolt must have a much bigger battery then I thought it did. My i3 takes around 14 hours from 10% to full. That’s on the car’s reduced load setting on a 120 outlet (I was slowly murdering even heavy duty rated extension cords at full power). It does have one of the smallest batteries fitted to an EV, but…
So many defending these awful places. I get your point...but I don’t get why anyone would defend these places and this idea. What happens when it’s something you actually want and it’s marked up to a third of a million dollars because....greed and reasons? No restrictions? Total free market?
If it was just for show, they could list it as a demo car and hold onto it until they felt like selling it. We had places around here using that loophole to circumvent Toyota’s punishment for insane dealer markups. Cars with 100 miles on them sold as CPO for 60, 70, 80% over sticker. They want some sucker to pay…
Wow...the number of people defending car dealerships. You get that this system is awful in every way right? Like there is no purchase you will ever make that has the cards stacked more against you. Thanks for offering your opinion but perhaps you should look up the definition of hypocrite. 10% discount during a buyers…
Your argument is flawed. Marking up an item 250% is price gouging and should be illegal. It is on some things. There is NO discount that balances these ridiculous mark ups. I was trying to buy a minivan and dealers were marking 36k MSRP vans to 70. Remind me when I could buy one for half again? It never balances out.…
Cataclysm ruined Loch Modan and they never fixed the dam. For this, I will never forgive.
Some interesting takes. A corvette from the 60s is comparable in acceleration to a 2022 Miata and has it beaten by well over a second in the quarter. I get that there weren’t a lot and some cars were over hyped but there are a few that still hold up, even today. I had a C2 and it easily ran around with modern…
Oh that ruined Testarossa. While it isn’t a good Ferrari, it has always been my favorite. I’d rather see it turned into a racecar bed vs whatever that is...
How did they manage to make it look so very much like a 15 year old dodge farm truck?
I have always wanted a dedicated GPS but the biggest downside is the phone’s maps are always being updated...and dedicated systems often have a pay to update system. If the garmin gps (maybe I missed it) always auto updates the maps and such when it’s in wifi range, it would totally be worth it.
I live right next to one of the largest military bases in the country and 10+ year old lifted diesel brodozers are what cause most of the problems around here. They roll coal, are stupidly loud (especially with “stacks”), and all these guys go to work at 5am.
Wouldn’t you have to cross the dead sea...does that not count? Radiation is not damage I’m guessing...
Yeah...I’ve been on a motorcycle since I was 5. I know all about expecting everyone to kill you and I still don’t run red lights and stop signs, jump sidewalks, and act like an entitled dbag.
Yeah...the reservation for two different models (XSE AWD and Woodland) went in early 2022. Almost 2 years now. Had to change model years twice.
Only problem with the last one on the list, the Sienna, is it will take you 50 years just to get one. F U Toyota!!
South Park did an episode about this right? Oh wait, it was Hybrids.
