That’s been my biggest complaint about the i3. They could have made it around 20 inches longer, made the battery slightly bigger to compensate, and given it enough cargo space to be a practical wagon/small suv replacement.  Granted, it would lose a lot of the oddity that way but it might still be in production.

Also, a gas station has 10 to 15 pumps.  1 out of 5 down is merely an inconvenience in waiting a couple minutes for one of the working ones.  Often there are only 2 car chargers and sometimes on a single control screen.  Once better redundancy is achieved due to increased demand, it will become less of an issue.
