Oh god, I think I have seen that before and my traumatized brain blocked it out. Who needs rounded tires on a thing that has to lean to turn right?
Sir...SIR....there are much worse hills to die on. I respect your choice.
It is cool looking...but it’s a jet ski with stabilizing outriggers and a floor over all of it. Looks like a cool toy but what problem is this trying to solve? If I wanna go cruising on a pontoon boat, I’m not really looking to hit 40mph on the way back to the dock because...reasons. And I cant imagine it is…
It makes the car significantly more dangerous to the occupants and people nearby. There is a reason cars don’t ride on tires as wide as a motorcycle tire. It’s stupid and should immediately make them illegal to drive on the road.
No one that is forced to listen to that will ever call it that. The fart can jokes shall continue.
Please don’t mention this. Next think you know EA will buy the rights to the dash and start charging for DLC for the car...like the speedometer app...
No dodge prowler? Huh. That was a missed opportunity by dodge. Granted 6.1 seconds to 60mph isn’t a dog but it looked like it should have been so much more then it was.
This. My last 3 bikes were a 2001 zrx1200r Kawasaki, 2013 Ducati Diavel, and now a 1978 Triumph Bonneville 750. Guess which one kinda sucks in stop and go and which ones had super light clutches and were easy.
My parents bought a brand new 1982 Corvette (for 22k btw) and my mom drove it to work for years. They sold it in 1996 and I never got to drive it. Not that I’m bitter about it or anything. My dad still has his (2nd) early 50s Triumph TR3A which he has been restoring for 30 years or so.
Hawaii. There really is no other option. Oahu is bad but try the big island if you REALLY want to see some shit. It is basically the wild west. Cops have exactly ZERO marked vehicles so there is no police presence at all. Turn signals? Naw brah. Lane markers? Nope, drive down the middle of a two lane road with blind…
“and discharges stored electricity”
The military tries to help out with higher ranking people that will go along to help negotiate and even blacklisting predatory dealerships...but it is only a show really. Nothing stops the 18 year old from going to that shady AF dealership on his day off and getting a 25%+ loan for 10k over the value of an early 2000…
Can confirm seattle area traffic. The I5 should be officially relabeled as a parking lot most days...and yet, 43 year old motorcycle with a heavy lightswitch of a clutch and the last year of the ram 2500 with a stick. Some how...some way...I survive.
To add to that, there are a ton of Class D smaller airports around the larger ones and you can’t enter that airspace without having 2 way radio comms with whatever tower’s airspace you are wandering in to. These don’t make much sense in any kind of urban area yet.
Mechanical sympathy....something I’ve felt all my life and never had a term for. Thanks! Hopefully, this will make it easier to explain to my kids.
I wonder if the problem stemmed from the new body design. it used to be the absolute dullest thing toyota made by miles...then they gave it the new camry/corolla harsher lines and it no longer looked like a car designed in the 90s for crippled octogenarians....it actually didn’t look awful anymore...and now it is…
The problem...aside from a huge bunch of red flags (like not removing everything from the vehicle prior to sawing the roof off) is that it looks pretty good as it sits...but it has lost a huge amount of what keeps it from folding in half when it hits a speed bump. Adding a roll cage to fix that problem is going to…
“Idaho and Montana are illiterate and ill informed on the subject...” I’m paraphrasing but yeah...that’s pretty spot on.
For some stupid trivia, the one year off GMC Syclone (1991) had the same squeeze bulb setup for the lumbar as the merkur. First time I had adjustable lumbar support in a vehicle.
