Since it is certainly in the interest of the car companies to stretch these terms out, why not extend the warranties for the life of the initial loan on the car? It would probably increase sales as people would feel better about a 7 year loan if the car is covered for that time period. Not sure if it would be a loss…

Yup, it is kind of a unicorn. I had to custom order it on the 2017 config site for what I wanted. Tradesman with the ram boxes, which wasnt available for an 18, technically.
