F.E.A.R. is what took me down that path.  The transitions were easy to see, from a firefight with horrible things that were otherworldly fast to a dark empty room.  You knew it was coming.  Alma was going to mess with you...but never quite exactly when.  The most memorable was I hit the button to climb down a ladder,

Cat houses - ok cool.  Cats love cardboard boxes.

Kinda reinforces my point there.  Not all the dealerships here will negotiate over the phone.  It’s fine though, I learned my lesson.  I’ll walk to work before I ever buy another car locally.

Yeah, sure would hate to have assholes on both ends of the deal right? I remember a time where I drove 100+ miles, with my wife and infant son, to a dealership to look at a used VW TDI. I talked to the sales guy beforehand because I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time and he assured me that there was some wiggle room

$500 for a 380 SSD? I’m sure it is faster then the samsung evo series but is it really 5x faster for a smaller drive? I’ll deal with a machine taking up more space on my desk for half the price. Playing in this arena...why not get a moderate alienware laptop with the graphics card dock for around the same price and

I’ll never understand why people spend 3x (or in this case infinitely more then the vehicle is worth) the car’s value in mods, especially on what is essentially a disposable shitbox. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against customizing (except stance..fuck stance because that shit is dangerous for other people), but

This is certainly a project car worth working on.  I’d consider it if I lived in a place where I could drive to pick it up and not have to ship engines/parts across 3000 miles of water.  NP on what appears to be a straight and rust free base for weekends of fun, learning, and swearing....

Hawaii is still averaging $3.50+ with the outliers on this island over $4 because...well fuck the customer. In 30 miles, the price varies over $2 per gallon...because it costs about about 667 dollars per mile (AFTER matching the other stations) to move it here apparently...

Mac minis rarely see major hardware revisions.”  Lol, the nissan frontier of computers.  Except the nissan can’t be replaced by something that costs half as much and works twice as well.

I’ve never met an xbox controller, be it 360 or one, that didn’t like to rumble the AAs around just enough to let them stop working.  The PS4 battery isn’t great, but at least it works reliably till the battery is done.

While I agree that it may cost them money, I don’t think it would automatically be a huge loss. Most cars easily crack 100k now with only basic maintenance. I’m not sure 150 is out of the realm of possibility. Hyundai and Kia already have the 100k warranty. The idea behind “needlessly long warranty” would be to entice

Since it is certainly in the interest of the car companies to stretch these terms out, why not extend the warranties for the life of the initial loan on the car? It would probably increase sales as people would feel better about a 7 year loan if the car is covered for that time period. Not sure if it would be a loss

Sigh...Idiocracy feels more and more prophetic each day.

Yup, it is kind of a unicorn. I had to custom order it on the 2017 config site for what I wanted. Tradesman with the ram boxes, which wasnt available for an 18, technically.

So very true...but I’ve kind of given up on that.  I own the last year model of full size pickup with a stick and have come to terms with the fact that I can never sell it, or used is the only replacement choice forever.  Sadly, manuals are going the way of the dodo.  I’m not happy about it, but there it is.

Where is this again....Florida? The Florida with the governor that didn’t want to do any of the social distancing? The Florida with Florida-man? Yeah...

Que the porsche lawsuit...but seriously, give me a 2 door with 250+ hp, a 10 year warranty, and some simplified tail lights and I’d seriously consider buying one.

Depends on the job I suppose. Inflation has averaged around 2% for the last 10 years. I work for the feds and our annual raises have averaged 1.5% and that does not include the cost of living conversion to locality that eats about half a percent each time we get something (there are years when we get zero). My point

Both can be true.  They should have attempted to change their image a long time ago.  Loud, obnoxious, and unreliable, with just a touch of white supremacy isn’t the best brand image moving forward and people may have been mentioning that for decades...
