One of the ironies here is that with the size of modern car seats, my wife’s little lexus NX (AKA Rav4) will be more comfortable and spacious when my kids are in booster seats and out of the forward or reverse car seats. Thankfully, we parents haven’t grown in size to a significant or noticeable amount yet.

My 1990 acura legend was practically indestructible. I sold it a couple years ago with 200k on the clock and most everything, including the AC, still working. My friends have purchased modern honda’s based on the perceived reliability from years passed and none of them have had the climate control survive 5 years.…
