I bought a tradesman with the upgraded vinyl seats, cummins and the manual last year so I did my part. My next one will be used I guess, if/when this one dies.

The best part of the Caravan is they sell them murdered out from the factory. Black on black with black rims on a minivan? Rental car that looks nothing like a rental car.
This. My Duc has a sticker on the frame stating that it meets noise ordinances in all 50 states with the stock exhaust. Still...it is NOTHING compared to the screaming asshole straight pipes people put on certain bikes.
So...this has almost the exact same wheelbase as a dodge journey so let’s assume they are very similar in size. Putting 7 people in a journey is a war crime in most countries. I had a rental journey and the back seat couldn’t even fit someone with legs and we wanted to put a car seat in there. The third row is a…
The Caspian Sea Monster was capable of over 30 feet of altitude and nearly 400 knots. Basically an armed cargo boat with wings that burned a massive amount of fuel to go stupidly fast.
We rented a minivan for our last vacation and aside from the normal dodge issues (brand new and one of the fold flat seats didn’t fold at all), it was leaps and bounds ahead of my wife’s evil little SUV...and I use the term SUV very loosely. My bronco was an SUV. It could offroad well, haul lawn tractors, and even a…
I’m very much ok with those dimensions for the new bronco. Can I get a tight turning radius, a moderately sized diesel, and a manual transmission?
This is a pretty good price for one of those. I sold my 87 for 4k and it had more rust and less things working. It did have the LSD in the rear and dual shock around coil towing package though. That being said, checking the B pillars and gutters is a must. Also, around the floorboards. They rust quick and body work is…
As you mentioned, these have been in the works for a decade and a half or more. I guess a “little” company like Michelin just couldn’t make a production one without GM backing it? There has to be more to it. Another 5 years before they are viable as well?
“...journalistic decisions...” lol, almost spit my drink out on that one.
For only one person.
I put my bronco up for sale a few years ago. I put an exhaustive list of things that I had done and what was wrong and any odd info that a new owner would need to keep it on the road. 6 months of nothing except low ballers and morons and then...we’ll call him bob. Bob asked to show up to test drive it on a…
Bah, I drove a 6 wheel drive military truck pushed by an air cooled inline 4 that would do 45mph across arkansas...andtexas...and new mexico...and nevada...and california. Roughly 2000 miles. Road trips are fun no matter the vehicle as long as you know what you are getting into.
Adding to the bronco recommendation:
Also known as: The reason we have our current problems.
Bit insulting to garbage don’t you think....and scows...?
Throttle control computer, Drag link, Obstruction lights, Tailgate latch.
I sold it locally. I knew the mechanic for the major ranch on oahu that runs tours with them. He had seen it a few times and agreed to buy it the moment I mentioned it was for sale. He also made me promise that I’d never come see it because they were going to “run it into the ground and then keep driving it.” …
This makes me miss my pinzgauer. All of the things a defender is, it multiplies them 10x. I still loved it.
I like the key fobs that don’t have actual metal keys but a thick plastic tab that fits in. No more scratches around the ignition and they seem to last just fine.
