This, harley hasn’t made anything competitive in any market other than noise and resale for 40 years.

One of the advantages of motorcycle ownership is their superior mileage over cars.”  Wha?...huh?  Granted I’ve only owned 7 bikes in my life and none of them were a goldwing, but not a single one could even make 200 miles on a tank.  From a non street legal honda 100 to a 250 interceptor to the two 1200s that last

Just wow.  I have two small ones and I try to think about how the kids will affect others, not who should cater to me regardless of how much of a pain in the ass I am.  Those kids are an extension of me and their behavior reflects on me.  We don’t go to fine dining places/romantic places with the kids.  I know it’s a

“within TSA standards.”  -Yeah, that isn’t a thing.

*sigh of relief*

That is something I’ve never truly understood. Fucking the federal workers is a completely bi-partisan thing. For some reason both sides hate the workforce. All these millionaires making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year from the government, regardless of political affiliation, who vote their own raises in year

I wish. Manual transmission, plus living on an island, plus we NEVER go anywhere without the kids. Maybe back in the day, but sadly not anymore.

Exactly. The smartest thing I’ve ever done is ordering the truck to spec. I spent 6 months with the config website and eventually the shiny-syndrome wore off and I started cutting back on options I didn’t need or want, adding the ones I really wanted based on experience, and working on the total price.

This is my dream car, in this color...with those options.  Wish I had the money because I’d love to do that timing belt myself.  Someday.....someday...

Honestly, they feel a bit underpowered.  The reviews say as much as well.  Nothing like the 6.7 I6, obviously.

This. I bought my pickup as a work truck that is also the family hauler on the weekends. Base model 4 door with the heavier vinyl seats because kids and a bench seat in the front so I can move 6 people if I have to and the 6.5 bed with the extender which gives me 8 feet if I need it. The wife wanted all the luxury

There never seems to be a middle ground. Either an HOA is insanely overzealous on everything, or they are fucking worthless. I have a class 5 hoarder next door, a neighbor that parks heavy construction equipment on his lawn, and a hefty HOA bill. Nothing is EVER enforced in my neighborhood. I don’t like crazy rules

Assuming you don’t live in some crazy isolated rural community that doesn’t have fast charging stations.  Target was one of the only convenient places and that was at least a 2 hour charge to get back to 80% just so I could drive home.

Obviously I would never block a charging station (i had an electric car and people did this shit all the time, mostly just because they were lazy or stupid), but if someone hooked their tesla to my 2500 and wanted to play tug of war, I’d drag their car down to the local police station. It is unlikely that the owner

“...our citizenry could make better choices.”

As a federal worker, this is always the goverment’s answer to a problem. “Just do more with less!” That’s not how any of this works!! We are required to have 2 people on duty for my job at all times. “Can’t you just do it with one?” No! That’s fucking illegal!! 18 years of this shit and that’s when everything is open

I have a 2018 diesel Ram with a manual, which is the only one of the big three to still offer an HD with a manual, and it gets better economy than all the autos. I regularly get 23+ on the highway thanks to a taller top gear. Some people might find the de-tuned (to not overpower the merc tranny) cummins a flaw

At $50, this is basically an impulse buy for legos. I’ll probably pick one up just because. It may not look exactly like what it is supposed to but I’m already pondering shoving a couple motors in there to make it RC.  Can’t tell if it has a real rear diff and if the pistons are driven off the front or rear wheels

I commented this on the other post too but I’ll put it here. The Model X has a 2000lb+ weight disadvantage and I’m sure those douchebros were all at their trucks while chanting. This is assuming brodozer (250/2500+ size and diesel) and not a standard F150. Power means nothing if you can’t keep the tires attached to

Eh, while the power is there, the overall traction isn’t. A brodozer still has an extra 2000lbs of weight or so as an advantage. I had an idiot with a jeep want to do a tug of war with my pinzie one night. He had me by 3x the horsepower and still had zero chance to actually move that 6000lb truck with an air cooled
