They probably did happen. I have held a government security clearance for almost 20 years. I found out about 5 years ago that there was a bench warrant for my arrest in my state. 15 years of background checks and security clearances. 8 in total if I’m not mistaken and it never came up. I would guess that they only

Oh certainly. I dont carry an umbrella because I live on a desert plain as well, but I do carry tow straps and an assortment of tools and a jacket because my commute takes me 30 miles from the nearest...well anything really and a looooong way up a hill. The jacket was just a metaphor. Some people take things to be

I tried this but was veto’ed by the wife. I was going to buy a 911 because I wanted something small and fun to drive to work each day. She said something about kids and costco and all the yard work I do each weekend and only one vehicle...so I have a truck.

So you never take an umbrella or jacket just in case huh?

I do agree with that.

Yes.  Yes they are.  Again...no nazis.  Actual fucking nazis is a deal breaker.  If it isn’t for you, you should reevaluate your views.

One side has significantly more nazis.  That’s kinda big.

While my initial reaction was “Holy fuck no!!”. After that wore off, I realized that the proper thing to do with a truck like this, other than burn it to the ground, is ship it to some backwater yokel area like this island, and add 5 grand to the price. I regularly see 2-3 year old ford and ram HD pickups with

No actually I don’t because what you said doesn’t make sense. It is nice that you seem to be totally unaware of lower income people that struggle day to day to make ends meet though. Many people can’t afford a 30k car, or a 20k car, or a 10k car. No credit, bad credit, no savings, jobs that don’t provide a living

Amazing!! No one ever needs a loan!! I guess we solved that crisis!!

I get it.  From a purely financial point, used makes sense.  But then we get into loans that can be harder to get, reliability issues, cheaper payments on leases.  There are a number of factors that play in.  I’m just not a fan of absolutes when it comes to generalizing people and their lives.

And they get more frequent with age. Also, the driving test must have freeway driving for lane choice issues and backing around a corner and into a parallel parking space. That will get 80% of drivers off the road.

How did the dodge journey not make this list? Totally unusable 3rd row for anyone that has legs. Garbage interior. Fuel economy that rivals carb’ed V8 pickups/SUVs from the 80s. (Seriously, I was getting 13 in one of these worthless pieces of shit).

Based on what, exactly?  99.9% of the time, used is the way to go....given everyone’s life situations?  I’m gonna go ahead and disagree.  Money isn’t the only factor involved in purchasing something.

“So why spend $300 more (that’s the cost of a new cheap iPad!)“

I’m torn here.  The ziptied license plate screams “dont give a fuck about the car” but the fact that it isn’t covered up by a finger indicates that the owner might not be retarded....

Do I have to be that guy? I have to be that guy. I love the Catera. Is there a reason for this? Something sane or rational? Hell no. I had one and it was a fucking nightmare...but when it worked...oh when it worked. It was quiet, understated, powerful enough. It is one of those cars that made you feel bad if you drove

There are a couple places that use them in Hawaii. Not sure about Maui but I sold mine to Kualoa ranch on Oahu’s north shore. I had already met the head mechanic as he was the island’s expert on pinzies. I offered it to the ranch for what I paid for it and he told the owner to buy it on the spot. Saved them a fair

Sadly, I sold it a few years back. The 6x6, while nearly unstoppable, is a bit too slow and cumbersome for what I’d like. My dream rig is a 710k. The 4x4 with the 5 doors and hard top. They have a better gearing ratio for the highway (55 cruise as opposed to 45).  Those are rare and significantly more expensive

She has been a rescue rig, driven through nearly 4 feet of mud (no picture of that sadly), and towed aircraft at an airshow when the aircraft tugs broke.
