Neutral: If we are talking sales, we could try to stop the predatory and unethical sales tactics of fucking every customer for every last penny and maybe it wouldn’t be filled with such vile people... That could help diversify a bit.

I really want to like it and I think it looks pretty ok from the side but the back is just too steep a rake for me. I really have no idea why that bothers me but it just doesn’t look quite right. I want about 10 degrees less for....reasons?
So this is worth the negative publicity? There is a lot of competition in Vegas. I’d think settling quietly would work better but maybe that would cost more. I hope this story blows up and they have to deal with the PR nightmare backlash.
This is what my family does but it does take discipline. Once every two weeks we go to costco, target, and the costco gas station. If we forget anything, it waits till the next run. We easily double the cost of the $100 membership each year on the 2% back and have the costco visa card basically pays for a full…
GMC Syclone. Granted it’s not the best example as it is a one year and extremely limited run. Yeah, the current standard is a little nuts. I had an 08 M3 and then an 08 C63 AMG and both were around the 4-5 mark. Now I’m an old man with a pickup that I think is listed at 10.5 seconds to 60. My wife still lets me…
I had a Syclone. Loved that crazy little pickup.
Well, that might be a big of an exaggeration. I had a early 90s stock pickup that would pull 60 in 5 or so. Corollas and Odysseys won’t do that without being tossed out of an airplane.
I guess I dont understand. Why was it ok to have those cars that night and where did they all come from? Flown in? Hiding in garages? Illegally imported ones that remain in underground bunkers but for this one day each year? I has questions!!
Dont get me wrong, it’s different and I like that. I’ve just never seen seat belts set like that before and I’d still probably reach over the wrong shoulder till the end of time.
I’m afraid that ship has sailed for me. Others should follow your advice though!
“Vroom on a Yamaha chromed out 11 hundred...”
Maybe it’s just me but ONLY 30 over in cars that could easily go 100 over...seems kinda sad. If I’m going to get my vehicle impounded, it should at least be for an impressive number. I’m pretty sure I hit 45 over the limit in my lumbering and not fast pickup the other day passing 4 or 5 slow vehicles. I didn’t need to…
As a general rule (YMMV depending on driving record and whatnot) a two seater will have higher insurance rates than a 4 seater. At least that was a thing a few years ago when I had toys and not kids.
Car seats are so big now that they fit in almost nothing if the parents arent 5 feet tall. We have 2 kids in car seats.
The biggest problem I have with that picture is actually the seat belts on the wrong side. I think my brain would explode after 25 years of this side = this belt.
My 2018 pickup has a rear bench. Not even a fold down armrest. Folds up for underseat storage, but oddly, doesn’t fold down. Gotta get the cheapest model though.
Even fake back seats cut insurance costs though....
Even many old British roadsters have grocery shelves disguised as rear seats with no leg room. Cant sit there, but that doesn’t make them bad.
Counterpoint: Nothing in the back gets to be better than the front because I’m always the one driving. My wife wanted me to get the option package that had a built in cooler in the rear seat...but nothing in front. Nope. I spend more time in there than anyone, I paid for it, and I’m always in the driver’s seat. Any…
Don’t be too sad, my bottom barrel ariens with 17.5 horsepower can do wheelies...yay for high gearing a brake pedal that acts like a on/off clutch.
