I completely agree with your explanation of political voting blocs in Chicago. There really is no way to improve the system unless an entire political party is disrupted. The Democrats are very very good at screwing up this state (and for getting caught). I think Rauner has one term to prove that he knows what he's

As a cyclist who went through the windshield of a car because the driver wasn't paying attention: Go the fuck to jail.

I suppose the definition of 'good decision' should have been better defined for those in charge at Metra and IDOT.

For people with 'connections' they're shit at staying out of prison.

I don't particularly side with any party although I tend to vote Democrat. This past election, like you, I voted for Rauner. He can't possibly fuck things up any more than what's been done over the past several decades. What's he going to do-make the credit rating worse? Make Chicago/the state more corrupt? It's

Most things that involve the city of Chicago involve bribes or 'charitable contributions' (*cough*bullshit) to get business. The whole city is corrupt and it extends out to the rest of the state. It's just the way things are done here...and why we have the worst credit rating in the 50 states, higher unemployment

And one of the photos taken at the back lot of a Volvo dealership...

No possible way to justify the price.

For about six months there was a guy trying to sell a $17 VW horn for $950. I just popped in to see if the listing is still active but it's gone.

Vehicle

This is what you buy when you OFFICIALLY have more money than sense...aka wannabe car guys who buy their way into the crowd.

McDonald's is the AIG of Fast Food. Even if they royally fuck everything up-someone will still give them money.

You ever own a TempurPedic? They're fucking awful.

Seriously ugly, IMO.

One of the larger issues is that the Big 3 subversively convinced people that they'd have to drive a miniature school bus to 'feel safe' so pretty much every vehicle has increased in size by 30+%. The marketing says it's to make you, the buyer, feel safer while they escape common sense regulations and the lemmings

But because it's in Chicago the name was decided before the poll and the poll is just to make people 'feel included'.

I've lived in Chicago for 13 years and it hasn't ONCE snowed 6 inches on Christmas. Hell several of them we had zero snow on Christmas. If the measurement was 2", I'd say it's risky but we rarely get 6" of snow in 24 hours late in December. Last large single day snowfall was in February a couple of years ago.

This

Having spent the first 30+ years of my life in Los Angeles and now live in Chicago, I have to say that the two airports are SO close in overall misery when it comes to actual experience that it's tough to tell them apart. O'Hare is a far more depressing environment for long periods of time-the lower level is like a

Interpretation doesn't make it acceptable if the person doesn't understand the overall requirement. Interpretation of an acceptable speed on a highway could be 'drive as fast as possible without getting pulled over for speeding or killing myself' but that sure as shit won't get you out of a ticket, will it?
