The new tail lights ARE actually worse...It DOES look like a fat Acura from the 90's with a Chevy logo.

They were both wrong here...but being an officer of the law means the burden to identify and react accordingly is on you. And this guy failed. The right thing happened when he resigned.

MD-80 is the worst. I stopped flying American because of these planes. Seemed like every flight was on an MD-80. At the end of every flight, I just wanted to punch someone in the face.

Eh, one's a Fastback and the other one is a Fat Chick Squareback...no big loss here.
