Unpopular opinion: I never really cared for the Testarossa. Would much rather have a BB512 Boxer.

I agree 100%. The giant tablet design in all these cars just looks so slapped-on and disjointed.

Is there a reason why the design of electric vehicles always have to go in some weird ass direction instead of just offering electric versions of what they already have? I get that there are some engineering differences that may require some body changes, but could there be that much of a worry about cannibalizing

My dad was in the RCAF and had a friend who punched out of these twice- he ended up a lot shorter and had back problems for the rest of his life

“Did you know flying a plane is like making love?”

You’re in luck. This is the 104D which is the tandem seat training version. The 104 was the single seat fighter version.

Is it a 2-seater? Asking for my wife.

I assume it is actually cheaper to put screens everywhere than to contract/build a real analog needle the moves around. I assume we shall see screens everywhere forever in the future.

No buttons on the BRZ/FR-S steering wheel for the first four years (pre-2017 facelift). And that’s the way it should have remained.

As an FRS owner I’m obviously biased, but I think they made a minor change for the worse when the car lost the fender humps over the front wheels. The profile looks like two slightly different cars got combined and now the front doesn’t really flow into the back as nicely.

Late entry, but as someone whose first car was an 80' Chevette in upstate NY I laughed so hard...way too many repressed memories too.

Real Good!!

This is all I got. But then again, I’m a child of the 70's....

That piston is going to be one cool conversation piece. Well, maybe not; I had a piece of an IndyCar that came to a bad end in the old Moosehead Grand Prix in Halifax, Nova Scotia on a nice little wooden pedestal and nobody cared about it but me. I need more Jalops in my life.

There was also this little-known Burt Reynolds/Sally Fields movie that featured some sort of Pontiac, a beer run, and lots of CB radio chatter

This is a really big country, with lots and lots of miles of wide open roads, patrolled by lots and lots of cops, all with dash cams running, and all frequented by more than their fair share of morons doing moronic stuff. So it shouldn’t surprise us when once in a while, something spectacularly moronic gets captured

The slideshows wouldn’t be quite so terrible if they weren’t just zero-effort screenshots of harvested comments. Mercedes Streeter’s weird/interesting finds work OK as slideshows since they actually involve creative choices on her part, and there aren’t usually more than a half dozen or so. (The worst I’ve noticed is a

Hate the slide show.

That was *impressive*.

I think that’s more of a location issue. I’m in the Northeast US and regularly have my phone up on a magnet clip in the center vent, sometimes for navigation, other times to just have it charging and keep it out of the cupholders. I’ve never been pulled over for that before, and even the two times I was pulled over
