And here I was worrying about towing a trailer grossing 4,800 pounds with a first generation Ridgeline which has a rated capacity of 5,000 pounds. I figured that might be pushing it a bit. Well, this fellow Canadian has inspired me to stop being such a wuss! Forget that little 19 foot trailer, a 33 foot Airstream it

They should have kept Snoke. And Snoke should have been played by Kirsten Schaal - no make up or special effects, just natural Kirsten Schaal. And she should have played Snoke as a mix of Mel from Flight Of The Conchords and Louise Belcher...

Freakin’ door conspiracy... You can’t tell me there isn’t one!

If you’re upset about the base price already, don’t go to the Kia Canada site and see the base MSRP there - looks like Kia US is kind of giving the USA a screwing over. (And no, the price isn’t including any Federal or Provincial rebates to make it look lower)

Ehh... none of those are hard to look at for me. Probably due to childhood exposure to this:

It looks like someone had Faberge Eggs Benedict for breakfast and threw up all over the inside.

“I have 8 pictures of the Pinzgauer... which is 8 more than I have of her on that trip.”

You are in for a typhoon of crap now Matt. I know because I share the same opinion of the E-Type. From some angles it is beautiful - but from most it’s ungainly and awkward looking. From the best angles it’s still nowhere near as beautiful as a 275GTB, short or long nose or a NART Spyder. Or a Triumph GT-6 or Spitfire

The apostrophe is an abomination unto the world and should be exterminated as quickly as possible. Style guides and people who argue over the contents of style guides must be shot. Into the heart of the Sun.

One of my glider flying friends (and students - I one of his instructors) raced motorcycles for many years. He says that he spends less on flying (he owns an old glider just like I do but makes many more trips to other flying sites than me) than he ever did on roadracing and manages to get far more time in the air in

So Musk shouldn’t have any problem with other people calling him a child rapist and a pedo guy, right? If it didn’t cause any harm when he, one of the wealthiest, most powerful and most followed by media people on the planet said it about an unknown then it should be even more acceptable for the average person to say

“I mean, I don’t know if I would put myself in charge of maintaining and operating a plane”

The way Uber is able to piss money away to the tune of a billion dollar loss being a “good” quarter with no conceivable path to profitability, and sells cab rides at a substantial loss but still has investors throwing money at them probably has something to do with it to.

My wife and a female friend of mine say the same “peed my pants feeling” thing about heated seats. Everyone else I know who has tried them loves heated seats. My wife is in favor of heated seats though because it would make temperature control on cold days when we’re both in the car easier. When it’s cold out I like

Peter Egan when reminiscing about the days he commuted in Wisconsin winters in a Beetle had a line about how the path that Heat had to travel in order to get from the engine to the driver was so long and convoluted that it would forget that it was supposed to be Heat and would defect to the other side along the way,

I’m quite a retro-grouch (Gen-X variety). Touch screen displays? Nav system? Infotainment system that connects to a phone? Automatic climate control? Get off my damn lawn! :-) But heated seats? Hell yes. Sadly, neither of my current vehicles has them. Next time though... absolutely.

My newest car doesn’t have blind spot monitoring but fortunately it’s short enough and the mirror field of vision wide enough that even with the mirrors set up in the manner used by about 99% of drivers there isn’t a blind spot. I think blind spot monitoring is worthwhile though. No matter how careful you are

Am I right in thinking that at least one comment here has blamed the whole thing on the people driving in the left lane because they didn’t keep right to allow the Corvette duo to pass safely? It happened when that video of some jackass brake checked a car in the HOV lane and caused an accident so I wouldn’t be

Jim was the best Driver’s Ed. teacher ever!

Tesla just announced a Kei car too:
