May I suggest for your next project that you try sleeve valves? That should provide hours of toil and frustration too!

I drive an old Honda Element and am currently looking for work. I went after a business degree in accounting (3.8GPA) and also spent a few years training to be an aircraft mechanic, graduating at the top of my class. My first car was a 1974 Capri 2.8 that was about 50% Bondo and 30% rust. Why the hell did I listen to…
Actually I like Mustangs too. The last two rental cars I had I got upgraded so I had Mustang GT Premium convertibles. I really didn’t want to give the keys back and go back to driving my trusty old Element. They were both remarkable smooth quiet nd comfortable cars, got better fuel economy than the Element and despite…
I suspect that he has the mannequin belted to the passenger seat is so he can drive in the HOV lanes. Police have caught people doing that, even going to the extent of holding animated conversations with the mannequin when a cop was watching them suspiciously.
Too bad the local stations haven’t rerun Mork and Mindy for years dammit!
2:30. Damn, even nuclear powered busses of the future have this problem...
Wait a minute... so there’s a Mustang in the video and it’s NOT the wrecked car? Howindahelldidthathappen?
Here in Canada a lot of us seem to think his middle name is “Murphy” :-)
Unless you’re buying a new sailplane there’s no compelling reason to specify “must be German” for any vehicle purchase. Just buy a damned WRX - Japan was part of the Axis too!
Isn’t it obvious? They need to write some code to manipulate the data so that it says their buyback program is ahead of schedule! Duh.
I thought the phrase was “Jumpin’ Jesus on a pogo stick!” I like you Stuart, you’re not like the other people here in the trailer park.
I’ve had the same sort of reaction reaction when trying to explain to various drivers that they had lost their tailgate mounted spare tire, had lost their bike rack, that they should retract the top on their Westfalia before trying to drive it on the freeway, that there seemed to be smoke pouring out from their rear…
What a fool! Everyone knows that this only works when you have steel wheels!
Probably about half the time it took the South Koreans to pull off the same trick judging by how they’ve been doing so far. Maybe ten to fifteen years? As long as China, or the world in general, avoids complete political distintegration and/or environmental collapse that is. I guess there’s another assumption in there…
The Subaru guy had better go marathon watch a few seasons of the Rockford Files - he might learn a few evasive action tricks:-) I’m amazed how long he drove in reverse early in the video.
Oh yeah, it does. I’m just impressed he managed to forget about this car. I’ve been trying (and failing) to wipe it from my menory for years now:-)
Been a long time since I got the IT phone call scam. I used to tell them that I was running an IBM AN/FSQ-7. I don’t think that’s why they stopped calling though.
Actually it is! I still have one in my house - by choice. I’m surprised the telephone system is backwards compatible enough that it still works to be honest with you.
Looking down and seeing as shift quadrant that looks like a mirror image of the one that was in my 1994 Nissan work truck would put a little dent in the driving experience with this car. Why does it seem so damn hard to make an automatic transmission controller look good?
“ the Mini brand enjoys a much better reputation compared to Smart”
