Another petulant Meghanism: Whoopi is telling an anecdote about while she was hospitalized and was paid a visit by Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro. Meghan interrupts to say, “WE ALL VISITED!”

I had to screengrab the most predictable and now emblematic moment of it all: all of the hosts unintentionally clustered from left to right in order of politics, with Meghan all the way off on the right trying to call attention to herself.

And her father - did you know her father was John McCain? - famously got into the Naval Academy as a legacy admit and finished at the bottom of his class. He was, by the way, Senator John McCain. And she’s his daughter.

I’d never actually watched her before, but wow, she was truly awful.

This was the most Meghany Meghan yet. The topic had nothing to do with her family and she went right to how EVERYTHING is about her family - because her family has benefitted from legacy admissions for generations, and rather than just not mentioning it, she brazenly defended it.

At the end of this whole thing, Cassie will grudgingly get together with Colton, likely with some financial inducement by ABC so she gives the show its “fairy tale” ending.

My confusion is...how did the office fail her? They took her allegations seriously, investigated it, there were clear consequences for the man in question that sound in line with his actions (and when further allegations were made and substantiated, he was fired), and she both no longer reported to him or had to be…

I feel really sheltered right now, and naive, because I’m left speechless at his disgusting comments. I just...wow. 

When a guy named Bubba the Love Sponge is telling you you’ve gone too far and sounds more reasonable than you, you know it’s bad. Also, guys like Tucker see teenage girls as their future 3rd wives. When you think of them as a few years off from being your next trophy wife, it’s a easy to sexualize them. 

So this is what social conservatism looks like.
