That still baffles me, even for someone as clearly stupid as he is. “I think it was great at the time when families were united — even though we had slavery — they cared for one another. Our families were strong, our country had a direction.” You think the only time our country has been so divided (so far) that it

Your first sentence is perfect.

Hell, Trump won the electoral college and is still pushing a “voter fraud” committee to discredit the fact that he lost the popular vote and to suppress GOP-undesirable votes going forward.

Because Republicans believe the entire world thinks just like them, they project everything. That’s why bad behavior on the part of Dems (butterymails) justifies bad behavior on their part (conspiring with a foreign power). They aren’t taking part in the elective process, they are taking part in a holy war.

If you are forcibly removed from a position, you shouldn’t be allowed to use the title that position gave you. Also, his proper honorific title should be “credibly accused pedophile Roy Moore” and absolutely nothing else.

So if you say slavery was a good thing, black people will turn out in high numbers and vote against you? Whodathunkit?

an affidavit from Judge Roy Moore stating that he successfully completed a polygraph test

The fact that he still calls himself judge proves he is not good at judgement.

“White”

It’s actually anyone who believes their own lie. All you have to do is keep telling yourself it’s true and you pass. While sociopaths don’t need to do that, regular folk can pass that way. A polygraph test is just that useless.

Can we stop referring to him as “Judge Roy Moore”? When a person who no longer serves in such the capacity of his or her public position, we often use such an honorific as “judge”, “senator”, “president”, or “the honorable” to convey respect for the person. But seriously, a man who was twice removed as a judge because

A response we’re seeing quite a bit from the GOP these days when they lose (or even anticipate losing): “They must have cheated!”

Yeah, I agree with all that.

Hm? Trump got away with a lot of this stuff, but to a lesser degree (ugh). Roy Moore learned from that and is running with it. Victim shaming? Check. Aggressive denial of legitimate accusations? Check. Blatant racism? That too. Now, ignoring unfavorable election results and blaming them on magical fraud? Yup!

Roy Moore is just taking everything normalized by Trump and implicitly endorsed by the GOP to its logical end. Remember when we celebrated the peaceful transition of power in this country? Will that even be a thing in 2018? 2020?

So, nothing that “promotes the overthrow of the United States government” or “promotes resentment toward a race or class of people”... and yet, something tells me these people would be fucking thrilled to see more classes that teach kids about the noble struggle of the Confederate states against northern tyranny and

It’s utterly embarrassing that such a ruling had to happen in the United States in 20-fucking-17. It’s not so much of a conspiracy theory anymore to say that Republicans have it out for education.

Oh the movie Innerspace came to mind when you read the words “InnerSpace?” What a beautiful mind you have.
