So lemme get this straight: you interview this guy one night about the impending crackdown and potential closure of his shop, and then the next day you wake up and find that he’s closed down his shop? Why do you think he didn’t elect to tell you that he was planning on doing so, mere hours from when he must have

Thank you for clarifying!

Right and that’s a dangerous misrepresentation of the real situation. The Baker is not discriminating based on his belief, he is discriminating against an entire class of people (gays). That’s why it’s offensive for the supreme Court to have supported that.

I know you’re not actually supporting the gay baker thing, but it needs to be repeatedly stated that people in the Trump administration choose to be there, every day they show up to work, and they choose to support (or pay lip service to, or abstain from criticizing) reprehensible policies. These are conscious choices

So does anyone have more info about how the friendship mechanic works yet? Specifically:

Yeah, my friends and I watched the level cap drop bit by bit yesterday. We were out to do a Regice raid and the cap was at 40—only 2 people in our 17-person raid were high enough. An hour or two later, it dropped to 35, then we saw it at 33, then it dropped to 30 and I was able to start trading.

Yeah, before the vote option even appears you have to watch an ad. You also have to wait a couple seconds once the video starts for the vote option to appear. If you normally, like most of us do, hurriedly scroll down the minute you see a video playing at the top of the page, then you’ll never see option to vote.

There’s no “longer article” that could possibly justify the statement “always assume the opposite of whatever they’re telling you on the big news stations.” No journalist worth their salt would straight up tell people to close their minds and stop thinking critically.

Because there’s 90 minutes to fill, this episode ends with a four-person lip sync to “Call Me Mother,” an appropriately difficult song for this final leg of the competition. I’ve never enjoyed these four-person showdowns, and as usual, there’s too much happening on stage and there’s no way of knowing who actually

Small nitpick: am I crazy or are those “lime green” espadrilles actually neon yellow?

I am a foreigner, so can someone explain some stuff to me:

100% agree. Several queens talked about going into debt to pay for their outfits on this season, and all I could think about were the queens who didn’t have that luxury.

We really should never have given away the Avro Arrow! Our planes might have TVs in them by now otherwise.

Guys, there are ethical lines that should never be crossed, and should be publicly called out (I’m thinking hate speech, physical assault, embezzlement, maybe, given the current state of our world), but for everything else we don’t want our bosses sharing our dirty laundry with the general public. The people being

This is a film with a lot of technical merits. The performances were superb (except for Gabriel Byrne (Steve), who only seemed to start acting about 2/3 of the way through the film). Both Toni Collette (Annie) and Alex Wolff (Peter) knocked it out of the park. Any scene where the two of them were able to bounce off

Well at least they didn’t pull a VH1 and cast a soon-to-be-murderer... I mean, small blessings, right?

Can we all take a second to remember how BAD Shadows of the Empire was? How embarrassing the whole “Xizor wants to rape Leia” plotline was? How uninspired Dash Rendar, the copy-and-pasted Han Solo stand-in, was? How awful Perry’s writing was? (I have proof, so don’t try me!)

>>You can get a job driving a forklift for $15/hr+ all day long. No requirements other than show up to work and pass a drug test.

God, a million reasons? The biggest being that finding employment—especially stable, non-precarious employment—is fiendishly difficult in the current economic climate. This is true regardless of your level of educational attainment, too.

You can cherry-pick the bits that aren’t totally valid complaints (What job do you know that schedules you from 6-1 but lets you take your lunch as your last hour? See, I can do it, too!) but the gist of this is not that every single complaint listed above is equally valid. The gist is that HD is not a corporation
