I enjoyed Pillars but loved Tyranny. Pillars is more for when I have a ton of time to absorb all sorts of mechanical shit. Tyranny was just a fun story with a great, responsive, intuitive interface.

Without the prequels, we are limited to a desert planet, a forest moon, a forest planet, a swamp planet, an ice planet, and a gas planet. That’s not the most epic range of landscapes.
But that’s only true of some movies, and not very many. Very very few, really. Whereas it’s true of almost all games.
