Do you honestly not realize that buying Activision means getting thousands of new employees that need to be paid?

According to the developer Yuga Labs’ website, players need a “Sewer Pass” NFT to play, which can only be obtained by those who own a Bored Ape Yacht Club or Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT, or through purchasing one from someone else who has the Sewer Pass.
She “accidentally” denied the Holocaust because she’s a AI algorithm, not a person. It’s not that she doesn’t believe it. She doesn’t believe anything, she’s essentially a chat bot. The programmer probably didn’t put any information about the Holocaust into the program, so it picked a canned response. The programmer…
Now she just needs to promote some NFT rug pull and it’ll complete the streamer bingo.
That headline is extremely misleading. This AI streamer has yet to make an AI ready personal non-apology that satisfies no one before taking a couple days off and going back to work like nothing ever happened with their revenue stream untouched.
AI Vtuber bot banned by AI moderation bot. Nice.
I say that, but people do, and sometimes get sued over it, but usually the original artists are just screwed
AI image generation is in its infancy. Many legal questions need to be resolved. Dismissing its value as a potential tool because artists need to eat is short sighted. I bet you aren’t a fan of the assembly line, either.
Also you can, you know, plug it into a tv and play that way...
My Nintendo Switch largely sat unplayed for the duration of the pandemic. I purchased it in the Before Times thinking it’d make for a great subway companion. But between the short battery life and it being uncomfortable to hold for long periods, I just didn’t ever want to play it much.
It’ll never happen, at least not before games are actually released. There’s a reason that all those behind-the-scenes specials on Disney+ are released well after the shows are out. The internet basement dwellers destroyed any chance of transparency by at best being ignorant asshats, at worst sending death threats to…
Gamers and not understanding shit about game development, name a more iconic duo. But I agree with others that it gave us this awesome opportunity to see things we normally don’t get to see, and I love it.
I especially like how the game keeps reminding you that it uses AI generated art. Because the point isn’t to make a good video game, it’s to push a technology that shills think will make them money. It’s like how Cryptobros keep making cartoons out of their NFTs, and those cartoons are inevitably ABOUT NFTs, as…
“Although admittedly Cromwell wasn’t a fabulous head of state either”
Uh-huh, this isn't tasteless at all...
You should maybe take a break from posting for a little bit, friend
Because of the precedent it sets: now that CloudFlare has shown it is willing to block sites that they don’t like, they’ll be under far more pressure to apply this action to cases that are less clear cut. I think they made the right call here (I mean, seriously folks, why did it take this long), but I sorta understand…
...unfortunate in the sense that it ever became necessary, presumably.
Seems less about politics and more just nopeing out of providing a platform for terrorism.
They just went home to daddy dictator. Nothing surprising here.
