@Kakkoii: nah, he'll claim the technology to do all this never existed until it was in an apple product. The plane will instantly disappear due to Steve's powerful RDF.

@KVillegas: Or, just have two in the rare scenarios where you're not going to be near a charging source for longer than your battery lasts. I'd MUCH rather have that option than have NO option.

@Himynameispromotedthiscommenta...: haha, dude, the RDF has you. There's plenty of high quality products that aren't made by apple.

Don't forget.. if you're not buying an apple product, you can, you know, have 2 batteries and replace them *gasp* whenever you want.

@tscurt: or that the family didn't want exactly this kind of thing to happen.

@1AJeremy: You're not thinkin...

@KillerBee: You may know the difference, but it's clear Lifehacker and many others don't.

@Eugene Smiley: They're good if a phone sells well, they're terrible if it is a niche/low sales phone.

Most phones aren't "root friendly", but they all get rooted. The issue is that Motorola phones are locked at the bootloader level, making it so you cannot upgrade the kernel/full ROM.

@twinturbo2: I'll still pick it up i think. I really enjoyed TDU1, although I must have like 800 stupid clothes coupons. I think i bought a pair of sunglasses and called it pointless.

@RCDuke: Any bus-throwing is almost certainly on AT&T. Motorola probably is too terrified of the fledgling profitability they have to stand up to a carrier.

@ctxppc: If you say so.

@usedtowork: Nope, Amazon enables it by default. Publishers hate the blind, and can turn it off.

@comics0026: None of them, cause nobody will pay for the actual development? =p

Maybe it's just easier to coach when you're in the south and drive past more talent on the way to work than exists in many midwestern states.

@KatsumeBlisk: Android is based on linux. Rooting on Android is literally gaining root account access.

@armerad: don't you mean honeycomb? Gingerbread is already on the Nexus S..

@CollReg: Look at pictures of the iphone 4 next to, say, the droid or the atrix. Both have a bigger screen, and a the Atrix, a far better battery, but they are within a millimeter or two of the same size. (in fact, the droid is narrower). Certainly not a large enough difference that you would be unable to carry it
