Right? Isn’t the obvious answer “then don’t fucking look, you moron”?

Like no one has ever come up to me and said ‘HEY, HEY! Have you seen my tit in my kids mouth yet? HAVE YOU? LOOOOOOOOOOK.’

So avert your fucking eyes, Wendy.

I live there (here) too, in London. In the past 15 years we’ve had a shit-ton of crime perpetrated by a huge influx of newcomers of every colour and race from a number of different parts of the world (refugees, economic migrants, illegal entries/stowaways, illegal over-stayers, temp visa people, new EU joiners,

It could be the flat-screen TVs. Ours suck and we have more than one. The sound broadcasts to the wall, not to us. So you have to turn the TV up really loud and it’s still mumbled.

Jesus Christ! So to speak.

Axe Body Spray. If not athiesm, at least the death of hope.

Oh my gosh, the ignorance, it bleeds through your comment. You need to travel more. Fyi, there really arent that many Muslims in Saudi Arabia, most Muslims are from places like Indonesia, India, pakistan, Nigeria etc, there are the same number of muslims in China as there are in Saudi Arabia. I kinda agree. I mean, everyone can do whatever the hell they want, and I certainly love seeing super chic hijab-wearing women, but I thought the whole point was modesty. If your hijab is more elaborate and puts you in a better light than showing your hair, how is that fulfilling the purpose? It’s like following the

The abaya is no more a symbol of oppression than the miniskirt

Let’s not celebrate the oppression of women, their sexuality, and their freedom via “modesty” laws - in Islam, in orthodox Judaism, in Mormonism, in crazy Christian sects. Anywhere. Nothing feels sexier than being allowed to leave the domecile!

I think these would be a lovely influence on western winter dress up apparel . Not for the modesty aspect, but something that is more substantial in the elements yet dramatic and elegant. I’d love to see a coatdress made in this style.

Wow these are beautiful!

I purchased a djellaba as a student while visiting Morocco. Gotta tell ya, those things are amazingly comfortable. They entirely hide the body, eliminating the western “body performance.”

If it is your religion that causes one to feel the need to were such clothes exclusively would you not have an issue with this company’s overall corporate messaging?

I can’t wait for these to get to my hometown in Saudi Arabia! Finally, something to wear when I hit up the night clu—hmm—ah, something fashionable I can put on when I start classes at colleg—well—okay, something I can wear while I drive to—errr—fine, something nice to wear while I just walk around in publi—oh.

I see Somali women wearing flashy, colorful shawls here in Minneapolis all the time, and I’m sure this is a fashion time bomb. This is going to be a thing at some point.

I’m so cynical. Lol. I really thought this was going to be them appropriating those garments and calling it “new fashion, nothing Islam related over here, move along”. Nice surprise. 😊
