Is it just me or does Godfall look boring as hell?

Discovery tried to be Orville in Season 2 and now Star Trek tries to be Rick an Morty.

Yeah, the first episode of this sucked pretty hard. Loud, frantic, noisy and annoying show’s overriding tone. The dialogue is delivered in such a ridiculously rapid fire fashion, as if to disguise the fact that it’s not actually clever or funny or worth listening to.

I would argue that Mads is a better Hannibal Lecter. Anthony Hopkins is great but he’s so ... over the top. With Mads he’s all oozing class and etiquette and charm and you completely understand why people fall under his spell.

Gunn wanted to add sexual situations to a children’s cartoon that had none to begin with and was upset that they were cut? Fuck him.

LOL. Absolutely not. I’m already poor IRL, I don’t need a game to separate me by my income as well. We have enough of rich vs poor as it is.

I already really hated Valorant but if I liked it, this would’ve made me uninstall.

They have done a rather great job of introducing ancillary characters, making me care about them, and Then GRRMing them as soon as they get interesting.

Fortunately, they only had to pull half of the Star Trek episode "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield."

I went through a Huxley phase in high school. His stuff is very readable, genuinely thoughtful and somewhat breezy with the satirical bite balanced by often deeply troubling overtones.

The sketch used blackface knowingly as an attempt to punch up, skewering both white privilege and police brutality. There was no racial stereotyping, and people of color weren’t the butt of the joke. Its akin to Tropic Thunder, and it is 100% fine. 

Well the video is marked as private so I can’t quite judge the sketch, but it appears as though the point was, honestly, exactly in line with the times going by the description: Being believed to be black automatically provokes police to violence, and being white gives you a ton of leeway.
