I don’t think I’d realized until literally just now that the name of this movie is “The Dial of Destiny.” What a bizarre name. Knowing essentially nothing about the plot of this movie (except that it’s an Indiana Jones movie, so I can guess all the major beats), wtf is a Dial of Destiny? Is it a sundial? 

You pay for it and too bad. It should all wash out with other people travelling to Texas anyway, and the alternative is constant GPS monitoring which is way more expensive to implement and would be wildly invasive. 

This is all so dumb and roundabout. If every state required inspections (which they should) you could just do odometer checks and charge people on a per mile basis. Problem solved.

Does Blue Cruise require external data to work, or is it all done with on-board computing? If it’s the former, fine, charge a subscription (I just won’t get it). If it’s the latter, charging a subscription is insane.

I used to commute from a south shore suburb to Boston every day (by car, because the part of the city I worked in was not accessible by train from where I lived). It fucking SUCKED. I now work in a different office and take the train to work the 2 days a week I’m expected in the office. It is so, so, so much better.
