It wouldn’t be comfortable. If you’re rich you want to show off your luxurious private jet, not get you and the 9 people you’re trying to impress strapped into a fighter jet.

There’s just no point to it for most people, so it won’t be economically viable. Most people won’t pay 4x the price for a ticket to save a few hours, and not enough people are flying around the world where it really makes a difference.

I think that was more their inability to provide security for the normal MO of that show - a drive through normal streets to a local coffee shop. My guess is that wherever this is (looks like a runway? Maybe even on a military base?) they could completely control access.

I kind of hate that they called it PT. That makes it sound like its set up to be a gimmick game. Looks interesting though. 

I’ve been playing video games since I was 5 (1990 for those keeping track at home), and yeah, this is not remotely surprising. A lot of people who are disliked for lots of reasons turn to gaming, and at least some of them are disliked because they are assholes. 

What’s especially ironic is that he has a huge TV deal waiting for him post-retirement, so he would still be involved in football, just not as a player.

I know the show is live action, but yeah, that screen grab almost looks like a game. 

Considering how many of his neighbors (in a rich Texas neighborhood, so in theory the sort of people who should love a republican senator) tripped over themselves to leak that he flew to Cancun, I’d say he’s pretty widely hated. 

I went to BU and always felt so bad for the people working at and using that PP. Felt like the crazies were there protesting more often than not, and every time the state tried to pass a law to make it better the supreme court shot them down. 

Tell me you’ve never seen the inside of a US prison without telling me you’ve never seen the inside of a US prison. No one who had could say, with a straight face, it’s a comfortable existence. 

HOA’s suck (although people choose to live there! If you don’t want to deal with an HOA don’t buy in an HOA neighborhood!) but so does this guy. Would it be different if they were just on normal private property? Leave other people’s plants alone! 

This is an incredibly minor part of all of this, but it’s fucking wild how many in the MAGA crowd have adopted Trump’s speech patterns down to how he waves his hands around. 

I work on the defense side of criminal justice, but DUI is the crime I have the least sympathy for. It’s completely avoidable in this day an age, and almost never driven by socio-economic factors. It’s a person deciding to drink too much then deciding it’s no big deal if they drive drunk. 

I’ve never seen a screenshot of this....thing? Game? AR? Whatever it is, that doesn’t look like absolute shit.
