Tom,
Quick question because my wife thinks I’m crazy. Do I get a 2016/17 Used Rav4 Now? Or do I wait til January/February when the 2019/New Body Style is out to help drive down cost even further?
For reference, we’re looking at a CPO Hybrid and I’m trying to save some money by ‘waiting out’ the new model dropping.
Same on every point.
I Moped to work right now, and riding a DEATH SCOOTER isn’t exactly gonna get me any more points with the boss.
HAHAHAHA Read it twice to understand.
I’m not gonna like, i 100% LOVE THIS STUFF.
The new mad max is my favorite movie ever. Saw it twice in theaters in 1 week which is a lot for me.
I would attend this event easily.
lol yea saw that also.
good eye!
So, I’m in a Similar situation, except I have a shop nearby that will do things I don’t want to, and they are reasonable to deal with.
Rotors need machining? $50 a pair.
Need pads dropped in while they are in there? Bring the parts its free with rotor turns.
Brake fluid total flush? $50, cheaper if you bring the fluid…
hahahaha true though.
dollar bills soak up carbon SO WELL.
I personally just love that this is an option and that it’s so dead simple. I’m always a really big fan of clever but simple fixes/upgrades/changes to a system that aren’t massive re-engineering efforts.
Its like... um yea jump dump an electric motor here and DONT talk the engine. It’ll just think it’s gravity. NBD.
Welp Kanye releases his new album in a day or two, which means he’ll be home soon, which means I give it 9 months and a day or two.
Oh God what a misread, but still HELL YEA.
All this good deal talk has be jonesing to hunt down some deals on car Gurus. Been Crossover shopping for a few weeks, probably pulling the trigger in december.
lol, when you crack open the service book and everything says “XXXX Miles or X Years” and you realize you’re gonna need to replace a lot of stuff.
I’ve kinda done both the long ones and the ‘taker round the block’ test drives. I usually save the long ones for my second test drive when I’m ready to purchase/negotiate.
...In hindsight I guess that just signals to them that I’m there to do business meaning I lost some negotiation power.
Damn.
Can you even imagine getting a less than economy sized new vehicle for 14k? much less a badass one!?!
That is fascinating. I kinda feel like the idea of ‘new’ definetly wore off somewhere between 0 and 7500 miles, but still pretty awesome.
Question if the warranty doesn’t start til it’s tagged/registered... how does that effect mileage? Instead of a 60k warranty is it essentially a 52500 mile warranty now? or does the…
I don’t know man, I never really thought about the question before but it kinda brings up the whole “When isn’t it new?” question right?
So we have 1 trigger, which is it being titled/bought by someone. That one is kinda a true false clause.
Your last sentence is like my favorite UI comment ever. *Dying*
They actually sell aftermarket now which is crazy, but they didn’t even have the one that senses basic wheel spin difference?
...but... that article HAS come out? Maybe you missed it, but for like EVER everyone said the same thing and McParland was like yea yea just wait and then he dumped a big ol list on us and it was glorious.
THIS is good kinja.
Thank you King George. You are a fair and righteous ruler.
