I hate to say it, but there is probably a really good social justice course on minority representation in X-Men comics. Coding and subtext aside, the stand in in the marvel universe for the oppressed minority are overwhelmingly straight and white. Which is weird.

SaGa Frontier’s Developers Room is pretty amazing.

I hope its good for the folks that are into it but these people have been begging for a remake since the PS2 launched. It’s going to be real tough to satisfy that level of hype.

Agreed, carving up a JRPG episodically makes very little sense. I just wish that generation of ‘gamers’ imprinted on a better game.

I’d have thought arbitrarily breaking it into pieces and selling it episodically would screw it up, but apparently it worked for hitman? I guess?

Word. The miraculous iOS port of Romancing SaGa 2 was 100% worth the premium price tag. Getting the DS SaGa 2 and 3 remakes on the Nintendo eshop would actually give me a reason to turn on my 3ds.

I’ve got an idea to enhance Square Enix’s legitimacy. They can pull their collective head out of their ass and release SaGa Scarlet Grace in the west.
