@Ashutosh: wow...so many suggestions! thank you everyone! :)

Anyone knows a site which has HTML and CSS tutorials in an interesting way? I'm totally new into these stuff, and I want to learn, but W3 schools seems a bit dull and kind of an overkill for the moment. Anything less intimidating and more fun would be awesome. Thanks.

Good to see you included MSE, given that a malware here and a malware there is starting to pop up on the Macs.

I've to very seriously disagree with Quicksilver. No doubt it's a great tool, and would be very welcome on Windows, but I feel the Start menu built into Windows 7 is epic. Quicksilver of course provides support for some specific third party apps, but it's outdated and I'd rather use something that's built into my

This seems a bit different and actually better than Library Thing, which I used sometime back; will try it out!

@( . Y . ): Yeah I'm talking about the hosting costs and all (which can again be free if you set up a personal server and all, but most people would rather pay to host their Wordpress blogs).

Cool to see that it supports Avira AntiVir Personal - the product is great, but the annoying nag acreens after every update don't make any sense, what with effective solutions like MSE, Avast 5, and AVG cropping up.

VOTE: Wordpress (self-hosted, not free), Blogger (free)

@RenRen: Ok, I totally didn't see the XP part. :|

@RenRen: If you've Windows 7, turn on wifi, download and install Connectify and run it to start a hotspot.

Why is it that apps for Mac have so much sexier icons than those for Windows? I'm jealous.

@RuBBa_cHiKiN: North Gizmodo is Best Gizmodo: In India, a family with an annual income of $1600 would be in the lower end of the middle class, and can have a decently good lifestyle, in the smaller towns. I expect the standard of living in China to be somewhat higher, so a family with that annual income would be in

I'm in favor of open drivers being used in Linux systems, as well. The proprietary drivers available are more often than not crappy, because the bigger companies usually don't want to waste resources by focusing on a tiny desktop platform like Linux. This step by Fedora is definitely appreciable, and hopefully other

VOTE: JustHost.

I've been hosting my blog on JustHost for almost a year. save for minor hiccups in January and mid-March, the uptime has been great. Of course everyone keeps bashing JustHost and I can't exactly say if it's good (because my blog is too tiny to test their servers!), but their email support is pretty good and my blog

Thanks to the MSDN Academic Alliance, I'm getting a free copy of Office 2010 (possibly Business / Enterprise) anyday now. :)

@John Kiniston: I'd go with a Nexus. It's really not all that inferior compared to Incredible (a bit compared to Evo), and it's Google's baby and is gonna get first priority in the form of fast updates and all. Plus, there's the unlocked advantage.
