I hope some airline adds "learning new insults for my nemesis" as an option for 'reason for travel'.

I did realise that later. Just being a bit Jason lately.
I realised we never heard about the manifesto from season 3 again. I always expected that to come up again but didn't.
I'd forgotten the context of that Bart/Homer meme so thank you for the reminder
Is it too much to hope for multiple Nick Offermen to exist?
Yeah it's something I only realised later on but not only did they improve the lives of many others by providing a system that lets you improve in the afterlife, but also provide a way (albeit unknowingly) for life on earth to be improved. The increased number of residents in the good place ultimately leads to more…
Actually he was credited as Nick Offerman unlike the philosophers who were credited as him/herself. I’m really curious to know if that was intentional.
If this episode had come a week later I would have watched it in Athens, which would have been interesting.
We do get bored from time to time, which is why we seek out new things; new jobs, loves, locations etc. And as Eleanor said, knowing it’s finite is what pushes us sometimes.
I know it was just an example but with the book thing, yes there’s too much to experience in a human lifetime but we’re not talking about that here. We’re talking about infinity.
But are you going to want to do all that? Even with all that time, will you spend some of it listening to the newest acoustic cover of Wonderwall someone has put out, or watch the latest Uwe Boll film, or binge the newest incarnation of the Real Housewives? Having infinite time and access will make you try out new…
Maybe they'll become the new good place committee. But competent.
If nothing else it's a good vibe to put out there; it's ultimately a show about trying to do better and about helping others do better. I think that's worth appreciating.
You got me thinking that perhaps they’ll get bored and decide they need to be involved. I’m sure they’ll enjoy relaxing for a while but after constantly fighting they’ll miss that a bit. I can see them going back to the neighborhood to help there.
There was a literal garbage fire and that nightmare horse from Pictionary.
Although it was great seeing Suzanne Cryer as a regular in something again being a big fan of Two Guys and a Girl back in the day.
I doubt it was influenced by it but the whole stealing the phrases from a takeout menu reminded me of the UK Transport Minister who hired a ferry company to help post-Brexit with the self-inflicted damage only to discover that they had no ferries... And their website stole their terms and conditions from a pizza…
So the Chidi-designed afterlife is basically going to be an undergraduate degree in improving yourself isn't it?
I don’t know if we ever got the fake explanation but I’m sure in his mind allowing his employees to have jobs justifies his place in the good place.
Oh no I mean conceptually the good place is a giant green screen that Janet made.
