A reminder and personal pet peeve: choking is when something obstructs your airway from inside your throat; strangulation is when the obstruction is external. Strangulation sounds scarier which is why I think people tend to say choke but this is horrific and should be described accurately.

The mothers never want to believe that their child may have assaulted someone. She probably doesn’t think any of it is rape and that those girls deserved it, too.

Women’s Party

The fact that the democratic party is going to endorse people who are anti-choice, fuck them, fuck the lot of them. We need a new party.

On some level the Dems admittance that in some places of the country the only way they can win is by not supporting women’s rights is a reflection of the country and how little it’s progressed than anything else.

Thank Jebus for the ACLU. Since the Dems seem to be pushing abortion rights and access to the back burner, their work becomes even harder and more important. They aren’t a perfect organization, but at least they aren’t craven sellouts.
