You’re not wrong. I’m pretty read up on Avital Ronell because I’m in academia and this is pretty much all anyone in my field can talk about right now (with good reason). And to top it off, Kraus’ take is pretty garbage. But honestly, all the Kraus/twitter stuff is pretty incoherent, so I wouldn’t bother with it.

I found it a bit eerie that you could just search-and-replace the names in this article with those of any of the recent powerful-man-harasses-woman-at-work stories and have it be pretty much identical, right down to the “but he/she is really good at their job!” defenses.  Yay equality?  Also:  yuck.
