Am I the only one who found Joan RIvers mean and usually not funny?

I never found him particularly interesting or attractive but I once ran into him and he kneeled down to pet my dog. He looked up at me and smiled and I was struck dumb. It’s not so much that he is good looking but he has something about him that is magnetic.
