There's a comment floating somewhere else around here which points out that hypocrisy in and of itself doesn't invalidate an argument. (And, it doesn't seem impossible to me that people who highlight others' privileged social status are equally accepting of their own privilege and how it helps them talk over others.)

This makes sense. I mean, he said he saw it, so it must have actually happened and must be a universal truth. As we know, no one ever lies, exaggerates, misinterprets, or hastily generalises.

As we know, being from socially privileged groups automatically disqualifies someone from giving a shit about those not in privileged groups.

The entire whining and hand-wringing about the ~PC police~ is really entirely just people upset that they can't say awful stupid shit in public without being made fun of or criticised.
