The US dollar will always have some value because you’ll always be able to pay your US taxes with it (so long as taxes are still a thing).

Bitcoin will alwlays have some value because you’ll always be able to buy drugs with it.

Thst said, it probably helps that they work in different departments (Science and English), and so aren’t really part of the same chain of command, other than both ultimately answering to the same head teacher/board of governors.
