If A Star is Born would have won it would have been the worst movie ever chosen for Best Picture. Although as I say that I still think Crash is a worse movie and a worst best picture. But you are spot on, they painted themselves in a corner by nominating so many shitty movies.

FUUUUUUUUUCK THAT! Crash is seriously one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Crash is soooooo much worse than Green Book though. And The Shape of Water won last year. And Argo and The Artist won back to back years... Finding bad choices for Best Picture is like shooting fish in a barrell.

Ummm, did they miss last years Oscars?

rareseeds.com has a really good selection.

I grew these yellow striped “roma” tomatoes a few years ago. There were so fing delicious, but were extremely fragile and prone to mold/deterioration so I haven’t grow them again. That was a good year.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!

If only...

There has never been a comic book movie that deserved to be awarded Best Picture.

Call me crazy, but Roma lost because it was in another language not because of Netflix.

Roma was in a different language, while that is a film snob thing it is decidedly not an academy thing. The real problem is they had too many movies that had absolutely no business in the best picture category mucking up everything. They were always going to get it wrong anyway though.

Unemployment numbers are less than worthless for many reasons.

Umm... Despite his moronic ramblings, Orange Man really hates black people.

What the fuck are you talking about? Tacos are fucking awesome. They are a perfect food. Eggplant on the other hand... woof. On another note, we’ve been referring to them as tacos for a long time, but I don’t remember there being a male equivalent before the eggplant emoji, maybe a banana?

This is going to be a very long week...

Crash was unwatchable garbage, but A Star is Born was 1000x worse than Green Book.

For the Academy yes, but the commentariat aren’t usually like this... oh what am I talking about they are all sheep.

The Shape of Water won last year. Whatever the driving force is, I am always impressed at how consistently they get it wrong.

You act like you are surprised...

Eh, there’s been a lot of really bad picks in the last 15 years.
