It’s dystopian techno-fascism, but it’s really amusing how out of touch with reality you are...
Yeah who would of guessed that the tech giants are soulless ghouls whose only goal is to extract money and resources from the population?
Sounds like a personal problem.
It’s painfully true. I think it has to do with the fact that you pay so much to live in the City you can’t admit to yourself that there is any reason to go to Oakland or Berkeley for any reason. I’ve experienced it first hand, it’s not even a conscious thing.
The Bay Bridge only goes one way. Or so it seems.
North Bay and No Car? You might as well be living in a commune on the moon.
I can very much see DC being 1a though.
As if it’s any easier in the East Bay... You all better be praying for an earthquake to shake all those transients out of town because everything’s getting more expensive in the East Bay as well.
I’m very surprised the open/poly thing wasn’t brought up explicitly. It all really boils down to the fact that there are literally no adults in SF. Everyone there is either a very rich person or perpetually stuck trying to relive college and or their early 20's. It’s a great city to live in if you aren’t looking for…
The only reason Avatar was so successful was the 3d. And Titanic was made so much money because teenage girls saw that shit in the theatres over and over again to watch Leo and listen to that fucking song.
Seriously? Titanic? An amazing achievement in set design no doubt, but that movie was boring and contributes more to the “fuck James Cameron” side of the argument than against it.
Eh, Those movies are good, but don’t cancel out the “fuck James Cameron” in my opinion. Or maybe they cancel each other out perfectly. Either way...
It’s true. Calling out The Abyss was truly a stroke of stupidity.
Is anybody excited about the next 10 Transformers movies that are going to come out? Clearly studio execs are not making movies to please our kind.
I hate James Cameron as much as the next guy, but he’s not wrong. And while Aliens and The Abyss were fantasy they still had “realistic” physics at work in the movie. Can’t say anything about Avatar because I refused to sit through that garbage.
Also Walmart is pretty much the epitome of an evil corporation.
HAHAHAHA. Amazon is bad. Walmart is very bad. Safeway bad, but at least their workers have a union. What part of cheap knockoffs do you think is a good thing?
Ummm, yeah. Amazon is a very evil company. Have you been living under a rock?
